I'm planning to visit your country at the end of this term, and I need
your advice. Please tell me what I need to know in order to have a safe
and enjoyable visit. Use several of the modals/expressions for advice
and suggestions that we've practiced so far: should, shouldn't, had
better (not), must (not), ought to, could, why don't
you, don't have to, and have to. Your response should be in paragraph
form.
You can start your response like this:
Holly, I'm so excited that you've decided to come visit my country. In
order for you to have a safe and enjoyable visit in (YOUR COUNTRY), here
is what you need to know. First, ... Second, ... Third,... and
Lastly,... You have to DEVELOP your paragraph, which means you MUST
provide enough support for each point you make. A good paragraph should
have 12-15 complex sentences. I want just ONE PARAGRAPH.
Holly, I'm so excited that you've decided to come visit my country. In order for you to have a safe and enjoyable visit in Thailand, here is what you need to know. First, most Thai people are conservative. You should be extremely careful with everything concerned with the king and religion. Do not say anything negative about the king of Thailand and the royal family. Most people love the king. If you say something bad about the king, people will hate you. You can also go to jail. Second, You should respect Buddha images. Don't do any kind of inappropriate posture near images of Buddha. Third, you shouldn't put your feet on the table or use them to point or pick up something, especially banknotes or coins. The feet, for Thai people, are the lowest part of the body. Lastly, you must not expect that most Thai people can speak fluent English. In fact, most people do not speak English. I hope you enjoyed your vacation.

Welcome to Korea Holly. I will let you know what should you do or be careful in my country. Firlst, You sould be polite to elderly people. When you want to say "Hello" to them, you ouhgt to bow your head to them. You don't have to do it to younger people. Second, You must take off your shoes when you visit your Korean friend's home. Don't worry. There is a space for putting down your shoes. Third, You must try Korean barbecue. The name is "Sam-kyub-sal", which is my favorit food though. Lastly, you must be tired after touring whole day, so you'd like to go to bed. However, I could say you had better go to the Mt. Nam Tower and see the night view of Seoul city. That might make you exiting because it is so beutiful. You don't have to worry about communication with Korean people because they can say basic English conversation. Have a nice trip.

First, you must not drink tap water because it is not healthy to your body. You should buy bottle water or boil it before drinking. Second, you had better take precautions against pick-pocketing in a crowed place. You had better not keep your wallet and cellphone out sight. Third, you ought to avoid take an unregistered taxi because it is dangerous to you. You don't have to pay tips if the taxi driver asks you for extra expense except taxi fee. It's the same as you have dinner in the restaurant. Lastly, you have to be aware of counterfeit bank note, especially counterfeit RMB 100 and 50 notes. Therefore, why don't you swipe credit card when you need to consume? I think these suggestions that I tell you are very practical for you. I wish you had a safe and pleasant trip in China.

First, most of Vietnamese people are very friendly and open mind. Ask question if you lose and don’t know where to go. Remember, you must not wear jewelry or handle valuable object such as phone and wallet in you hand. If you wear bag, you have to put it in front of you. Second, you must not be surprised when you see too many car on the street. Don’t panic because more than 80% people in Vietnam are using motorcycle for transportation. You should try it at least one time, and you should wear helmet when you sit on a motorcycle. Third, Vietnam is a heaven of food street at night. You should ask your partner to hangout with you at night and enjoy the foods. The food comes from every part in Vietnam and in the world. Remember to record those moment in your life. Lastly, Vietnam has many places to visit. If you like nature. You should take a tour to southern part of Vietnam. There are so many people take bus in China,so most thieves they steal in the bus. You had better take taxi. Here is reminder to you. You don't have to tips. Second, there are so many different kind of food in China. You should try it. However,you ought to be careful the health. Third, there are so many beautiful and amazing place you should to visit. I suggest you visit to YUNAN, LIJIANG. The people very friendly, lovely, and honest of there.You will find out different culture over there. You shouldn't stay there for just one day. You could get a hotel reservation near my house, but you don't have to, you can stay in my house as long as you want. Why don't you bring some cash, because in most places you could not use credit card. You have to schedule your vacation so you can fully enjoy all the places you visit.
